To check the status of any contractor’s license visit the California State License Board at www.cslb.ca.gov. ALWAYS verify a company's claim that they have insurance and a contractor's license.

If you unwittingly hired an un-licensed and un-insured garage door company you would have no recourse for a defective product or a job poorly done. If a service tech or installer were injured while working on your property, you could be sued! This includes back injuries which are a common occupational hazard. Don't risk it!
